About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a Security Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping our customers and partners build secure and innovative solutions on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with AWS account, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Key Management System, CloudHSM, AWS Organizations, Artifact, Web Application Firewall.
  • Serve as a key member of the business development and account management team in helping to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Provide thought leadership on Analytics solutions that benefit customers through the use of AWS Services.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of working with account management teams.
  • Experience designing, building, or operating large-scale IT security systems either on premises or in the cloud in a variety of business environments.
  • Experience with AWS technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Indepth working knowledge in technology domain such as data protection, threat detection, edge security, and compliance or knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go,.Net, Rust, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role or a role which involved public speaking.
  • AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Security Speciality or Professional) or other industry certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, etc.).
  • A background working in a regulated industry such as financial services, healthcare, or defense with work managing a certification or accreditation (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, C5...).
