Global Product Manager - Software & Data Interface (f/m/d)

Welcome to Atlas Copco Product Company, where we are at the forefront of Flow Drill Technology (FDF), part of the IAS (Industrial Assembly Solutions) Division. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in software development who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address market demands. You will serve as the primary liaison between the Product Company and Atlas Copco customer centers globally for software and data interface matters.

Your Mission:

This pivotal role allows you to make a significant impact. Your objective is to ensure the sustainable growth of the FDF product line by providing Software & Data Interface solutions along with technical support to end customers and Atlas Copco customer centers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer engagement and development: Assist Atlas Copco Customer Center teams in addressing customer inquiries related to IT interfaces and enhance their local expertise.
  • As the main point of contact for IT and software needs, lead the specification process for new initiatives, including reviewing specifications to align with customer requirements.
  • Hold an academic degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), ideally with a focus on Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Possess hands-on programming skills in C++, C#, Python, and Java.
  • Have expert knowledge of Data Interface protocols such as MQTT and OPCUA.
  • Demonstrate extensive application knowledge concerning Software and/or data-related solutions.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills in English and German (minimum B2 level), both spoken and written.
  • Foster a collaborative mindset and effectively communicate with various stakeholders at all levels.
