Account Manager for Instrument and Equipment Services

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Instrument Enterprise Services division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling service contracts for our instrument portfolio, focusing on exceeding sales quotas and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Identify and develop large sales opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sales plans
  • Support customer planning sessions and business reviews to drive incremental growth opportunities
  • Act as a country/regional Account Manager for strategic customers, maintaining and growing business
  • Apply central messaging and sales approach to establish key customer relationships and understand customer service/support needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, or equivalent education or experience
  • Five years of selling experience, preferably in a business environment
  • Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets and creating sales and/or field marketing plans
  • Native German speaker, with proficiency in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales software
  • Familiarity with the biotech, clinical, pharmaceutical, academic/medical research, environmental, food, forensics, and petrochemical industries
