Tax Efficiency Specialist

At KWS SAAT SE, we are currently looking for a Key User Tax (m/f/d) to enhance tax efficiency, comply with international standards, and ensure precision in our operations. This role is unlimited and full-time.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Driving initiatives for standardization, automation, and digital transformation while ensuring effective reporting mechanisms.
  • Providing technical feasibility assessments, implementation, and testing support for ongoing improvement opportunities identified by operational teams, translating functional requirements into technical system change requests.
  • Managing projects and ensuring timely delivery of tax-related tasks.
  • Overseeing the implementation of new processes that require extensive technical and procedural knowledge, fostering cross-functional collaboration on IT solutions and processes.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing enhancements in tax processes.
  • Collaborating with external service providers to guarantee the quality and efficiency of services rendered.
  • Supporting various tax-related reporting initiatives.

Your qualifications:

  • A degree in tax, accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity along with project management expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Process-oriented with proficiency in SAP.
  • A solution-focused and service-oriented mindset aimed at developing innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
