Overview
The role of the Business Developer is pivotal in initiating contact and fostering engagement with potential financial decision-makers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads that will enhance the pipeline for Account Executives. The focus will be on reaching out to accountants and CFOs within the German small to medium-sized enterprise sector, specifically targeting companies with 50 to 500 employees.
This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence the company's growth while paving the way for personal advancement within the Sales department.

This position is based in our Hamburg office.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour work will concentrate on outbound strategies, and your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting: Conducting outbound campaigns through various channels such as cold calls, emails, video messages, social media outreach, and events to establish initial contact with prospects and secure appointments.
- Qualification: Assessing and understanding the needs of prospects to guide them consultatively towards the Spendesk solution when appropriate.
- Collaboration: Sharing prospect information with Account Executives to facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
- CRM Management: Tracking your performance using activity metrics from our CRM tools.
- Feedback: Providing daily insights to support the continuous improvement of the Sales team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-Level finance professionals.
- A driven and determined individual who is eager to surpass targets.
- A comfort with cold calling, viewing it as an effective means of reaching out to prospects.
- A collaborative team player willing to take calculated risks for the benefit of the team.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Preferred: Previous experience in Sales or as an SDR/BDR.
