About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to join our team at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). As a Biostatistician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our researchers in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials and other biomedical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide biostatistical support for researchers in all phases of clinical trials, from trial design and data analysis to interpretation and publication of results
- Develop and apply novel biostatistical methods and analysis strategies
- Collaborate with researchers to identify and address statistical challenges in clinical trials
- Communicate complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Master's degree, PhD in (bio-)statistics or biometry
- Experience with design and analysis of clinical trials
- Solid statistical programming skills, preferably with R
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research
