
Head of Business Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development to join our team at terralayr AG. As a key member of our Strategy & Commercial team, you will be responsible for driving the commercial definition and go-to-market strategy for our platform services and products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our platform services and products
- Lead and drive customer discovery and analysis to ensure an in-depth understanding of customer needs and interests
- Collaborate with the Product & Tech team to develop new Flex Products & Services and validate their innovation potential and business case
- Craft commercial implementation plans for platform products and services, including customer contracts, service provider agreements, pricing, and regulatory frameworks
- Funnel prospect and customer feedback to the product and development team to inform product and service features and roadmaps
- Define and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
- Strong commercial skills with a track record of successfully designing and selling energy products and services to B2B energy clients
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the energy industry
- Deep understanding of the energy market, including all relevant stakeholders across the value chain
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into actionable outcomes
- Superior sales presentation and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude with an insatiable appetite for closing deals and taking the lead on the definition of new products and services
- Innovative mindset, willing to disrupt the energy industry and find new ways to solve the challenges of the energy transition
- Energetic, communicative, and inspiring/convincing leader able to focus on both business and people
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices
