Position Overview:

Are you seeking a high-level role in sales and marketing that influences our commercial direction and enhances customer interaction? The role of Sales & Marketing Director for Vaccines presents a compelling opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the global execution and ongoing enhancement of the Launch Excellence Framework across all franchises and regions.
  • Oversee content ownership of processes, collaborating with business franchises and Local Operating Companies (LOCs) to implement Launch Excellence steps.
  • Identify and disseminate crucial launch insights and integrate these learnings into the Launch Excellence framework.
  • Evaluate global launch performance to determine the business impact of the Launch Excellence initiatives.
  • Assist franchises and regions in optimizing launch performance, including necessary adjustments and a structured approach.

Brand Planning Process:

Ensure the systematic application of the global Brand Planning Process across franchises and regions, achieving consistency through shared standards, tools, and language, supported by thorough quality checks.

Commercial Standards Development:

Establish and enhance the standards, tools, and language that support and unify core commercial processes, embedding these within franchises and regions to streamline operations.

Project Management Expertise:

Foster strong project management capabilities, enriched with insights from Launch Excellence, to improve organizational proficiency and consistency in launching new medicines successfully.

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10 years of senior commercial experience in a General Manager or senior marketing capacity within a large market.
  • Experience in product launches and providing commercial support throughout various development stages.
  • Background in regional or Local Operating Company (LOC) commercial roles in both sales and marketing.

Preferred:

  • MBA.
  • Experience as an Accelerated Delivery Program (ADP) Practitioner.
  • Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of strategic thinking and disciplined execution.
  • Capability to manage individual performance and foster a results-driven culture.
  • Experience in setting strategic direction and leading organizational transformation.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and collaborate towards common objectives.
  • Experience in managing P&L and capital allocation.
