Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Information Technology Student Assistant (m/f/d) to become a part of our Safran Helicopter Engines team based in Hamburg.

This role provides an opportunity for a minimum 6-month engagement with a dedication of 20 hours weekly, enabling you to acquire significant experience while making contributions to our pioneering team.

Your key duties will include:

  • Design and sustain contemporary web applications and platforms (Full-Stack JavaScript)
  • Refine existing scripts (Python)
  • Develop, manage, and enhance Power BI dashboards
  • Engage in the deployment of a proprietary securedGPT for Safran Helicopter Engines Germany
  • Participate in various collaborative initiatives aimed at continuous enhancement processes utilizing AI to improve current systems and workflows

Your qualifications include :

  • Current Bachelor or Master degree in IT with a keen interest in modern technologies
  • Proficiency with Git, Redmine or similar, Microsoft SQL Server, JavaScript, and Python is essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in English and a good command of German
  • Capability to create UML diagrams would be advantageous
