About the Role

Munich Business School (MBS) is a leading institution in the German-speaking world, dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of students, faculty, and staff. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an International Student Recruiter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Recruitment Network Development: Establish and maintain a robust recruitment network that aligns with the university's international student enrollment goals, including partnerships with agencies and MBS alumni.
  • Student and Agency Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for counselors, agencies, and other stakeholders, primarily in China, India, and Eastern Europe, to promote the university's programs and services.
  • Training and Presentations: Provide training and presentations to agencies and their inquiry pools to enhance their understanding of the university's offerings.
  • International Event Representation: Represent the university at international recruitment events, fairs, and conferences to promote the university's brand and programs.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create a comprehensive international marketing strategy utilizing various online marketing channels and marketing materials to attract and engage with international students.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the Admissions Office, domestic recruiters, academic units, and other organizations within and outside the university to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Academic Qualifications: Minimum bachelor's degree.
  • International Recruitment Experience: Proven experience in international student recruitment, including working with agencies from target markets such as India, China, Taiwan, and Latin America.
  • Intercultural Competence: Strong intercultural experience and sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Travel and Communication: Ability and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods and communicate effectively in English, with a working knowledge of German.
  • Teamwork and Innovation: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to rethink and innovate in the recruitment process.
  • EU Citizenship: EU citizenship is required.
