About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Integrated Health Solutions team as a Principal Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving transformational change in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with strategic hospital accounts to drive complex transformational change, implementing innovative growth strategies, streamlining patient care pathways, and optimizing operations.
  • Influence key stakeholders by developing well-articulated situation analyses, financial estimates, and business cases for change.
  • Identify, frame, and prioritize initiatives to capture value, establishing a project roadmap and developing actionable plans to drive improvements and cost savings.
  • Manage full end-to-end projects and perform day-to-day coaching and mentoring activities for the service delivery team.
  • Periodically prepare portfolio reviews of the partnership program with the steering committee to track status, progress, and measure economic value and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive implementation, coaching, and developing local project or staff resources.
  • Capture learning and best practices and continuously enriching Medtronic consulting toolbox.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant functional area.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a consultant from a top-tier consulting firm or high-end healthcare consulting firm.
  • Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with hospitals' C-suite/Senior Management stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable program management skills: planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues, and managing risks.
  • Strong people management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Native German, Excellent English (other language skills are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel within DACH (up to 70%).
