Senior Healthcare Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Consultant to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Integrated Health Solutions Consultancy Community, you will play a critical role in driving complex transformational change and implementing innovative growth strategies in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with strategic hospital accounts to drive transformational change and implement growth strategies.
- Influence key stakeholders by developing well-articulated situation analyses, financial estimates, and business cases for change.
- Identify, frame, and prioritize initiatives to capture value and establish project roadmaps.
- Manage full end-to-end projects and perform day-to-day coaching and mentoring activities for the service delivery team.
- Prepare portfolio reviews of the partnership program with the steering committee to track status, progress, and measure economic value and customer satisfaction.
- Drive implementation, coaching, and developing local project or staff resources.
- Capture learning and best practices and continuously enrich Medtronic's consulting toolbox.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant functional area.
- 4-6 years of experience as a consultant from a top-tier consulting firm or high-end healthcare consulting firm.
- Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with hospitals' C-suite/Senior Management stakeholders.
- Demonstrable program management skills: planning, coordinating, communicating, influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues, and managing risks.
- Strong people management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Native German, Excellent English (other language skills are a plus).
- Willingness to travel within DACH (up to 70%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation to strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery.
- Experience in working and communicating in an international corporate environment.
- Toolkit with generic consulting skills, especially problem-solving.
- Distinctive people management skills with a strong team development and coaching ethos.
- Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process within the healthcare system.
