About the Role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst to become a vital part of our Global Product Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will work closely with the Vulnerability Manager and collaborate with teams focused on threat intelligence automation, penetration testing, and IT security. The Vulnerability Management team is responsible for identifying and prioritizing threats and vulnerabilities within our product ecosystem, delivering comprehensive reports to key stakeholders. This position is primarily technical in nature, emphasizing security rather than compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate effectively with the global Vulnerability Management (VM) team to ensure seamless operations Analyze, assess, and validate vulnerabilities reported by external researchers, as well as new technical vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation based on business impact Develop VM-related applications and scripts while ensuring Software Quality Assurance Oversee patching tasks for peripheral applications and infrastructure as part of the vulnerability remediation process Conduct root cause analysis for critical vulnerabilities during incident response Provide mentorship to junior team members in their tasks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; or a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a cybersecurity role 3-5+ years in a technical cybersecurity capacity within corporate, military, or law enforcement environments Proficient in IT, embedded systems, hardware testing, threat intelligence, or cybersecurity Exhibits integrity, strong teamwork influence, and promotes a culture of knowledge-sharing and excellence Capable of working under pressure, engaging in technical discussions, and providing advisory on technical matters Experience in enhancing vulnerability management and incident response processes, particularly in OT/ICS, embedded, or product contexts Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, risks, and preventative strategies Proficient in programming/scripting languages (Python, bash, Ruby) and knowledgeable about software/hardware Understanding of cybersecurity controls, frameworks, terminology, and concepts Proficient in English (C1-C2); knowledge of German is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cybersecurity, preferably in IT/OT or IoT/automotive sectors Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and organizations (CC, FIPS, NIST) Understanding of risk management principles Active involvement in conferences, consortiums, or CTFs (capture the flag) Contributions to publications, blogs, or repositories showcasing past cybersecurity work Familiarity with CSIRT or PSIRT practices

Eligibility Criteria

Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time, both domestically and internationally Ability to work in an office environment
