About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and sales team with respect to product applications, product trainings, product demonstrations, and product presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert applications support to customers, collaborators, and internal team (product managers, sales force)
  • Develop and validate new applications to support the product, including collaboration within NPDI projects with respect to requirements and validation testing
  • Support the development of marketing collateral that demonstrates the value proposition of Thermo Scientific IOMS instrumentation
  • Present scientific data and marketing collateral at key events (international conferences)
  • Feed voice of customers (VOC) and competitor information back to the product management group

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent, PhD preferred (Analytical Chemistry, Geological Sciences or Natural Sciences)
  • Proven hands-on experience with EA Isolink and/or Gas Bench Plus and applications
  • Strong communication skills with high proficiency in English - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely within a public setting with an emphasis on telling a compelling, marketable story to customers
  • Eagerness to understand our business opportunities and prioritize activities accordingly
  • Ability to integrate fully into the gas IRMS team, and to collaborate across the organization
