About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to join our team at AVL Software and Functions GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the central IT department, external service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide support.
  • Utilize a ticket system to document and track all technical inquiries and issues.
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees, including installation, configuration, and setup of hardware and software.
  • Manage device, account, and license administration, ensuring seamless access to company resources.
  • Monitor and maintain all systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system integration.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Windows (Client & MS Office) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, network, and software distribution.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse departments.
  • Proficiency in German and English, with a strong emphasis on written and verbal communication.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
