Financial Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, analyze, and report on financial key performance indicators (KPIs) such as EBITDA and controllable expenses.
- Develop clear and concise messaging for stakeholders regarding Group-level EBITDA and controllable costs.
- Assist in the quarterly closing process and provide essential information for external financial reporting.
- Manage non-financial KPIs and their correlation with financial metrics.
- Identify and report on opportunities and risks at the Group level.
- Ensure consistency across all financial reporting outputs.
- Engage in stakeholder management, collaborating with various teams within the finance department.
- Independently contribute to group-wide initiatives.
- Facilitate active change management during the transformation of financial functions.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of controlling systems and processes to promote automation and integration.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in business with a specialization in controlling, finance, or (group) accounting.
- Familiarity with IFRS-based consolidation of income statements within a multi-tiered group structure.
- Practical experience in coordinating and executing controlling processes.
- Understanding of the energy sector is advantageous.
- Methodological expertise in financial steering, including planning, reporting, and analysis of financial KPIs.
- Ability to simplify complex information and present key financial drivers clearly, with a strong customer focus.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, with a knack for interpreting data and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships in collaborative environments.
- A positive outlook towards change, transformation, and challenges.
- High levels of self-organization, commitment, initiative, teamwork, energy, flexibility, and resilience under pressure to achieve ambitious objectives.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
