Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with entrepreneurs and stakeholders within the depot to facilitate smooth operations and address any challenges that may arise.
- Champion a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to Hermes' safety protocols and promoting best practices among team members.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of all equipment, facilities, and vehicles to maintain optimal operational standards.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in logistics management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for driving operational excellence.
