Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role

Nexperia is seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Manager to lead its European logistics and transportation operations. As a key member of the Supply Chain Management Organization, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and identify process gaps to develop solutions that enhance logistics operations performance.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure seamless logistics integration and optimize the global logistics total cost-to-serve.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for effective freight management and logistics operations.
  • Manage 3rd party service providers and ensure efficient operations are executed as per agreement and KPIs.
  • Manage the logistics team and ensure the functionality and performance of the group work, safety, and maintenance instructions.
  • Other responsibilities include inventories and destructions, compliance with Sox control, audit management, logistics budgeting and cost distribution, Europe return store, and import/export customs clearance operations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, transportation in a freight forwarding business in an international environment.
  • Functional expert of ERP applications, knowledge in SAP WM/MM/SD.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Business fluent in English and German.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High sense of responsibility and perseverance.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to solve complex problems.
