As a pivotal member of our dynamic and global team, you will engage in technical implementations for S/4HANA, ECC, and various transformative projects. We are currently in the midst of S/4HANA implementation and are seeking a Senior SAP Integration Engineer (f/m/d) to support our objectives. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a skilled group of SAP experts to develop innovative solutions that propel our business forward.

In your role as an SAP Integration Engineer, you will operate under the guidance of the Senior SAP Engineering Manager, Business System Engineering. Your primary focus will be on executing intricate integration scenarios within the SAP Cloud environment, while adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, you will be responsible for formulating strategies for the adoption of cutting-edge SAP cloud technologies, emphasizing their contribution to business value.

This position demands a robust combination of technical acumen and strong communication skills to ensure the success of our initiatives. You will be instrumental in our sustainability efforts by leading workshops for requirement gathering, crafting concepts, and independently implementing the defined requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessing business needs and delivering functional and technical design solutions for SAP integration projects.
  • Diagnosing issues within interfaces and providing support during the implementation phase.
  • Collaborating closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the successful execution of initiatives and integration projects.
  • Participating in the planning, execution, documentation, and delivery of integration projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Overseeing multiple SAP PI/PO projects while effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and proactively suggesting and implementing innovative solutions to enhance SAP capabilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • At least 7 years of experience in SAP with a focus on implementation and integration projects.
  • Proficient in SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  • Extensive experience with all functionalities of BTP Integration Suite and web service/API development.
  • Expertise in managing integrations using various CPI adapters: ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, JDBC, XI Proxy Adapters.
  • Familiarity with WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies.
  • Knowledgeable in security concepts such as SSL, OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSH, and encryption mechanisms, along with managing security artifacts in CPI.
  • Understanding of CPI exception handling, error notification techniques, and data persistence.
  • Experience in managing security artifacts, encryption, and decryption processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Practical experience with ABAP and OO ABAP, particularly in one of the modules.
  • Ability to design and enhance integration processes across diverse systems.
  • Capability to elevate the technical team's proficiency on the BTP platform.
  • Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) based services.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba CIG and SAP Ariba CIG Addon for ERP.
