We are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior SAP Integration Engineer (f/m/d) to contribute to our dynamic and international team focused on technical implementations for S/4HANA, ECC, and various transformative projects. This role is pivotal as we advance our S/4HANA implementation and seek a skilled professional to drive our objectives forward.

In this position, you will collaborate with a talented group of SAP experts to develop innovative solutions that propel our business. Reporting to the Senior SAP Engineering Manager, Business System Engineering, your primary responsibility will be to execute intricate integration scenarios within the SAP Cloud environment, adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, you will design strategic roadmaps for the adoption of cutting-edge SAP cloud technologies, emphasizing their contribution to business value.

The role demands a robust combination of technical proficiency and strong communication skills to ensure the success of our initiatives. You will be instrumental in our sustainability efforts by leading workshops for requirement gathering, crafting concepts, and independently implementing the requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze business needs and deliver functional and technical design solutions for SAP integration projects.
  • Diagnose interface errors and provide support during the go-live phase.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives and integration projects.
  • Participate in the planning, execution, documentation, and delivery of integration projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Manage multiple SAP PI/PO projects, effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, proactively recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance SAP capabilities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • At least 7 years of experience in SAP implementations and integration projects.
  • Proficient in SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  • Strong experience with all features of BTP Integration Suite and web service/API development.
  • Expertise in managing integrations using various CPI adapters: ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, JDBC, XI Proxy Adapters.
  • Familiarity with WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies.
  • Knowledge of security concepts such as SSL, OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSH, and encryption mechanisms, including management of security artifacts in CPI.
  • Understanding of CPI exception handling, error notification techniques, and data persistence.
  • Experience in managing security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with ABAP and OO ABAP, focusing on specific modules.
  • Ability to design and optimize integration processes across diverse systems.
  • Capability to enhance the technical team's expertise on the BTP platform.
  • Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) based services.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba CIG and SAP Ariba CIG Addon for ERP.
