In your capacity as an SAP Integration Engineer, you will operate under the guidance of the Senior SAP Engineering Manager in Business System Engineering. Your primary focus will be on executing intricate integration scenarios within the SAP Cloud ecosystem, adapting to evolving priorities while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing strategic roadmaps for the adoption of cutting-edge SAP cloud technologies, emphasizing their contribution to business value.
This position demands a robust combination of technical acumen and effective communication skills to ensure the success of our projects. You will play a crucial role in our sustainability efforts by leading workshops for requirement gathering, developing concepts, and independently implementing the necessary requirements. If you are driven by the challenge of tackling complex issues and making a meaningful impact in a global organization undergoing substantial digital transformation and sustainability initiatives, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and deliver functional and technical design solutions for SAP integration projects.
- Diagnose interface errors and provide support during the implementation phase.
- Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to ensure successful project execution and integration.
- Participate in the planning, execution, documentation, and delivery of integration projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Manage multiple SAP PI/PO projects, effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, proactively suggesting and implementing innovative solutions to enhance SAP capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- At least 7 years of experience in SAP implementations and integration projects.
- Proficient in SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
- Strong expertise in all aspects of BTP Integration Suite and web service/API development.
- Experienced in utilizing various CPI adapters, including ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, JDBC, and XI Proxy Adapters.
- Familiar with WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies.
- Knowledgeable in security concepts such as SSL, OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSH, and encryption mechanisms, including managing security artifacts in CPI.
- Understanding of CPI exception handling, error notification techniques, and data persistence.
- Knowledge in managing security artifacts, including encryption and decryption mechanisms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ABAP and OO ABAP, focusing on specific modules.
- Ability to design and optimize integration processes across diverse systems.
- Capability to enhance the technical team's proficiency on the BTP platform.
- Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) based services.
- Experience with SAP Ariba CIG and SAP Ariba CIG Addon for ERP.
