Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development in the field of power electronics, with a focus on wide band-gap transistors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development in power electronics, with a focus on wide band-gap transistors
- Design and develop new power electronics hardware
- Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to advance the state-of-the-art in power electronics
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and products
- Communicate research results and findings to colleagues and stakeholders
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a comparable qualification in a related field
- Experience in power electronics hardware design and knowledge in multiport converters
- Practical experience with wide band-gap transistors
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
