Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power electronics hardware with expertise in multiport converters.
  • Collaborate with a team to take responsibility for new problems and contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of independence, initiative, and commitment.
  • Participate in internal and external training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of key technologies vital for the future.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in power electronics hardware design and knowledge in multiport converters.
  • Practical experience with wide band-gap transistors.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
