Join Our Team as a Product Development Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Product Development Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. This position centers around our cloud-based software solutions tailored for industrial automation sectors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aiding the development team, articulating product specifications, supporting product creation, and assessing new market offerings. Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis:
    • Perform comprehensive market research to uncover customer requirements and industry trends.
    • Analyze competing products and provide valuable insights to enhance product innovation.
  • Specification Development:
    • Engage with stakeholders and clients to collect and document precise product specifications.
    • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to direct the development team.
    • Ensure specifications align with the overarching product vision and business goals.
    • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to establish product specifications and requirements.
  • Support for Product Development:
    • Work alongside the engineering team throughout the product creation process.
    • Offer continuous support and address inquiries to guarantee the product fulfills established specifications.
  • Product Documentation:
    • Generate and maintain thorough product documentation.
    • Ensure all documentation is precise, current, and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Product Launch:
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless product launches.
    • Assist in crafting go-to-market strategies and plans.
  • Market Introduction:
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to equip and inform them about the product.
    • Create training materials and conduct training sessions as necessary.
  • Product Assessment:
    • Monitor and assess the performance of newly launched products.
    • Evaluate customer engagement and feedback to guide future product enhancements.
  • Support Strategy Development:
    • Define and implement support strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with customer support teams to address and resolve client issues.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Engage with customers throughout the product lifecycle to gather insights.
    • Ensure products not only address customer challenges but also exceed their expectations.

Basic Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business with a technical focus, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Self-motivated individual with 1-2 years of experience in product management, ideally in cloud software or industrial automation. Relevant internships or work experience will be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud technologies and industrial automation, particularly PLCs. Understanding of software development and deployment processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Strong project management, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to present ideas and strategies effectively. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
