Position Overview

We are seeking a Compliance Assistant (m/f/d) to bolster our Compliance Department in Aschheim (Munich).

Your Responsibilities

- Provide assistance and support in:
- Identifying compliance-related risks.
- Developing, enhancing, and submitting both global and local company policies, regulations, and process specifications.
- Conducting employee education and training, as well as executing compliance interviews.
- Monitoring compliance activities of the company and its employees.
- Investigating instances of non-compliant behavior.

- Offer advice and facilitate internal communication on all compliance matters pertinent to the company, its subsidiaries, branches, and parent company in Japan, while overseeing related compliance measures and structures.

- Contribute to the ongoing development of the compliance management system and supervise KYB Europe's subsidiaries and branches in this regard.

- Prepare and execute compliance-related reporting activities directed at the company's top management and parent company in Japan.


Your Qualifications

- A degree or apprenticeship in law and/or business administration, with initial experience in regulatory compliance either during your studies or in a role within an international organization.
- A structured and analytical mindset, capable of grasping complex topics.
- Strong understanding of risk management and control requirements.
- A keen motivation to learn about compliance management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support a multinational team.

- Proficiency in German, either as a native speaker or with exceptional written and spoken skills.

- High-level business English and Japanese language skills, both written and spoken.

- Familiarity with common MS Office applications.
