Are you ready to contribute to a dynamic team within a leading financial services company? We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic intern to join our Employee Technology Operational Support Team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive technical assistance across various departments.

This team plays a crucial role in ensuring that all employees have the necessary IT resources and support to perform their duties effectively. They address technical issues, offer assistance with equipment, and ensure smooth operations.

As an intern, you will primarily support the employees of the organization, directly impacting their ability to serve our clients. Your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, ranging from troubleshooting minor issues to restoring critical information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on all audio-visual and collaboration tools.
  • Provide additional assistance to various teams within the Employee Technology domain as required.
  • Deliver first-level support to employees at designated support areas.
  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of loaner devices.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels including chat and ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and support Ethernet networks and VPN connections.
  • Assist both on-site and remote employees.
  • Process and fulfill requests for access and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of technical terminology and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory.
  • Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of conferencing equipment.
  • Experience with Service Now is a plus, but not mandatory.
