Senior Legal Counsel DACH: Strategic Advisor for Goodyear's EMEA Region

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel DACH to join our Legal Affairs Consumer EMEA team at Goodyear. As a trusted advisor to the DACH Hub, you will provide strategic legal guidance on a wide range of matters, including sales, distribution, and retail, marketing, competition, procurement, operations, employment, and corporate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide senior legal advice to the DACH Hub, aligning with business leaders and coordinating with other legal counsels in the EMEA region.
- Contribute to strategic discussions, projects, and activities with business leaders, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
- Monitor and communicate policies, laws, and regulations to ensure sustainable business practices.
- Manage litigations and investigations in local markets, provide training, and ensure alignment with outside counsel.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, such as the Business Conduct Manual and Anti-Bribery policies.
- Collaborate with other legal team members in the EMEA region, aligning on main goals with relevant business leaders.
Requirements:
- 10 years of post-qualification experience as an attorney, including experience in a law firm and as a legal counsel in a business environment.
- Substantive experience within a business/commercial environment, with experience in a matrix organization and dual reporting.
- Fluency in English and German, with other languages considered a plus.
