Senior Legal Counsel DACH: Strategic Advisor for Goodyear's EMEA Region

About the Role:
As a Senior Legal Counsel DACH, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Goodyear's EMEA region, providing strategic guidance on a wide range of legal, compliance, and governance matters. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the company's sustainable business practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Advise the DACH Hub (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) on legal, compliance, and governance matters, including sales, distribution, and retail, marketing, competition, procurement, operations, employment, and corporate.
- Contribute to strategic discussions, projects, and activities with business leaders in the Hub, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
- Monitor and communicate policies and applicable laws and regulations to secure sustainable business practices.
- Manage litigations and investigations in the respective local markets, providing training and coaching as needed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, such as the Business Conduct Manual and Anti-Bribery policies, and handle non-compliance issues in close alignment with the Legal Directors.
- Collaborate with other legal team members of the EMEA region, aligning on main goals with relevant business leaders and liaising with the EMEA Legal Leadership Team and corporate legal department.
Requirements:
- 10 years of post-qualification experience as an attorney, including experience in a law firm, and legal counsel in a business environment.
- Substantive experience within a business/commercial environment, with experience or membership in a business management steering/executive team.
- Fluency in English and German, with other languages considered a plus.
