About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager SCM to join our team at Siemens Healthineers AG. As a key member of our global supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing efficient, future-oriented, and competitively superior supply chain organizational structures and processes worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global supply chain strategies aligned with Siemens Healthineers business goals, focusing on optimized processes, tools, and controlling mechanisms to ensure competitiveness worldwide.
  • Work as a sub-project manager on SCM solutions, including MES, digitalization, automation, and machine connectivity, from idea and consulting to implementation, in close cooperation with business areas, technology centers, regions, and other functions.
  • Act as an interface to Siemens Healthineers IT and other business partners, working closely with them in a solution-oriented manner to drive supply chain excellence.
  • Model target processes with process owners, define corresponding requirements for SCM IT tools and applications, and ensure optimal information flow and effective knowledge exchange to achieve supply management efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide support in machine learning-based anomaly detection, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance, and develop suitable key figures to drive business results.
  • Promote internal cross-divisional and cross-company collaboration and information exchange on supply chain trends and strategies, machine integration, and other relevant topics.
Requirements
  • University degree in mechanical engineering, business informatics, or a comparable field of study.
  • Many years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in different processes.
  • Extensive experience in project management as a sub/project manager, with practical experience in agile projects in supply chain management and the associated PLM/SCM IT tool landscape and processes, ideally in the medical devices environment.
  • Knowledge of current equipment connectivity technologies (OPC UA, MQTT, TPC/IP), advanced analytics, operational equipment effectiveness, and automation.
  • Desirable knowledge of SAP SCM, particularly SAP ME or SAP DM.
