Position Overview:

Databricks is at the forefront of Unified Data Analytics and AI, empowering businesses to drive innovation and secure a competitive edge in the fast-paced market.

As we expand our footprint in Central Europe, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Named Account Executive to leverage the significant market potential within the enterprise IT sector in Germany. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Sales, you will be instrumental in fostering relationships and securing new business with one of Germany's premier Information Technology firms. Your expertise in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI will be pivotal in shaping your strategic approach and delivering substantial value to this key client.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate your primary account and formulate a strategy to surpass revenue and usage objectives.
  • Execute the strategy effectively to achieve and exceed revenue and consumption benchmarks.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on Data & AI matters.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding usage cases within your primary account.
  • Coordinate and engage internal teams to maximize your impact within the ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate exceptional value in all interactions to facilitate successful negotiations and close deals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise Information Technology clients in Germany.
  • Demonstrated ability in selling complex software solutions.
  • Understanding of consumption-driven sales models.
  • Track record of generating demand that leads to significant business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with established sales methodologies, including account planning and accurate forecasting.
  • Experience in building effective partnerships and collaborative teams to support your sales strategy.
  • Ability to develop and execute a successful partner strategy.
  • Expertise in identifying key use cases and decision-making centers to enhance Databricks' impact within organizations.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
