Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager Process Automation to join our Backend Application Support Team in Kronberg, Germany.
About the Role
As a Technical Manager Process Automation, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and management of the FFB Scheduling System.
You will assist in setting up new clients and implementing file transfer jobs, requiring a strong technical affinity.
You will work on constant enhancements and improvements of the application in close cooperation with business stakeholders, external software vendors, and hosting service providers.
You will cover key aspects of the software lifecycle, from test preparation and test management to production rollouts and ongoing production support.
You will also be responsible for performance testing and application optimization to ensure scalability and resilience to meet FFB's growth ambitions.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager Process Automation with:
- Excellent knowledge of scheduling systems (i.e. Control-M)
- Excellent knowledge of Unix operating systems and Shell scripting
- Experience with Docker Technology
- Basic knowledge as application administrator of a core banking system or equivalent (mission-critical) applications
- Ability to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral)
- Flexible, open, and innovative
- Strong team player
- Passion to learn and continuously grow
Preferred Skills
We also welcome candidates with knowledge in container technologies and CI/CD technologies (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket,...), as well as experience with collaboration tools Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW.
