Technical Manager Process Automation Specialist

About the Opportunity
Join our Backend Application Support Team as a Technical Manager Process Automation and be part of a team responsible for the technical implementation and management of the FFB Scheduling System.
You will assist in setting up new clients and implement file transfer jobs, requiring a technical affinity.
Work on constant enhancements and improvements of the application in close cooperation with the business stakeholders, the external software vendors and the hosting service provider.
Cover the key parts of the software lifecycle, from test preparation, test management and production rollouts to ongoing production support.
Be responsible for performance testing and application optimization to ensure scalability and resilience to meet FFB's growth ambitions.
About You:
- Technical ownership of scheduling System
- Technical ownership of core banking systems
- Covering the aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from testing, software role-out up to ongoing production operation including weekend coverage
- 2nd level support: analysis of potential incidents and close collaboration with the external software vendor
Experience and Qualifications Required
Must have:
- Excellent knowledge of scheduling systems (i.e. Control-M)
- Excellent knowledge of Unix operating systems and Shell scripting
- Experience knowledge of Docker Technology
- Basic knowledge as application administrator of a core banking system or equivalent (mission-critical) applications
- Ability to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral)
- Flexible, open, and innovative
- Strong team player
- Passion to learn and continuously grow
Preferable Skills are:
- Knowledge in container technologies and CI/CD technologies (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket, ...)
- Experience with collaboration tools Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW
