About the Role:
RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support our daily procurement activities within the area of Direct Procurement for our onshore wind and solar projects in Europe & Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operational onshore wind and solar projects by coordinating procurement activities and managing service contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with international teams to prepare and evaluate tender documents, create price comparisons, and manage work in SAP for purchase requisitions.
- Develop and implement framework agreements into the SAP system to enable automatic ordering and place call-offs against existing agreements.
- Support the development of a lessons learned & supplier management database and create management presentations to facilitate decision-making.
- Provide invoice query support for purchase orders and convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders where automatic SAP contracts do not exist.
Requirements:
- Ongoing studies in supply chain, project management, business administration, or engineering.
- First practical experience in an international company with intercultural understanding and openness in working with different cultures.
- Fluent in English, with German being a plus but not mandatory.
- Firm knowledge of Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a creative mindset, curiosity, and proactiveness.
