Job Summary

As a leading player in the Cryptocurrency industry, our client is seeking a highly experienced Crypto Head of Compliance to lead and manage their compliance department. The successful candidate will oversee all compliance matters related to the company's operations, develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs, and ensure adherence to international and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the compliance department, overseeing all compliance matters related to the company's operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to international and local regulations, with a particular focus on Crypto
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the company's compliance policies are updated accordingly
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of vulnerability and implement corrective actions
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements specific to the Cryptocurrency industry
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay informed about legal developments and advocate for favorable regulatory environments
  • Train and educate employees on compliance policies and procedures to foster a culture of compliance within the organization
  • Work closely with senior management to align compliance strategies with business goals


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Substantial years of compliance experience, with at least several years in the Cryptocurrency industry
  • In-depth knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Proven track record of leading a compliance department and managing a diverse team
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to anticipate compliance issues and provide proactive solutions
  • Fluency in English & German
