We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Manufacturing Quality Platform Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform, with a focus on best practices sharing, process harmonization, and sustainability of improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical engineering, with experience in managing major improvement projects and a proven track record of success in implementing quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform, with a focus on best practices sharing, process harmonization, and sustainability of improvement.
- Train and support the implementation of manufacturing process improvements and best practices.
- Perform factory assessments, identify gaps, and support the implementation of the associated plans in a structured and systematic manner.
- Collaborate in investment analysis to ensure alignment with the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform.
- Participate in root cause analysis of transformer quality issues.
- Ensure that the Global and local Quality Control Plans are regularly updated based on identified quality issues and best practices.
- Lead and coordinate the global manufacturing quality subject expert pool.
- Reduce COPQ and improve productivity in full collaboration with the local and Global Operations Development and Quality teams.
- Support Manufacturing Quality Audits and Assessments in collaboration with the local team and Global QHSE Manager.
- Couch and mentor Junior Operations and Quality individuals.
- Master or Bachelor degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
- Graduate or Post Graduate studies in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality / Lean / Six Sigma (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with power transformers manufacturing processes at an expert level
- Successful experience in managing major improvement projects with excellent facilitation skills
- Basic knowledge of transformer design (preferred)
