About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Accor, a leading hospitality company. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Front Office department and team, providing a high level of service to our guests and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a memorable guest experience through exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
  • Leading and managing a team of high-energy individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding service.
  • Supporting the Duty Managers and working closely with the hotel teams to set and achieve sales strategies and maximize occupancy.
  • Managing departmental costs and ensuring all expenses are in line with budget guidelines.
  • Ensuring all hotel Standard Operating Procedures are trained and adhered to, and identifying opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining a good relationship between Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B teams.
  • Being fully aware and competent in all health and safety procedures and policies.
  • Being a member of the hotel crisis and fire teams and being fully conversant in all related procedures.
  • Achieving and maintaining the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Assisting the sales and marketing team with site inspections and being confident in the hotel facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role or as an Assistant looking for further development with a demonstrable track record of excelling in Front Office operations and procedures.
  • Experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar property management system.
  • Experience of monitoring and implementing Health & Safety procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including days and nights, weekdays, and weekends to support the duty management team.
  • Natural leadership and management skills, with the ability to create an environment where team members can thrive.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
