Global Market Director, Coating Additives

Milliken & Company is a global leader in materials science, delivering innovative solutions that enhance people's lives and drive business growth. We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global market development efforts in the coating additives segment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop compelling business cases.
- Prioritize projects for application development, co-supplier engagement, and new product development.
- Liaise with co-suppliers to identify market trends and prioritize technical engagement.
- Develop a deep understanding of Milliken products and internal capabilities to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Work closely with sales, product management, and technical teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
- Provide administrative leadership and development for the global market development team.
- Experienced leader with a track record of developing and implementing new product growth programs in a business-to-business environment.
- Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineer, or related technical degree required.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Prefer at least 10 years of professional work experience in the paint and coatings industry with expertise in marketing, business development, and sales.
- External bias with experience interviewing customers and other experts in the marketplace to uncover key insights.
- Deep understanding of value proposition development and competitive product positioning.
- A high energy leader with experience working with global, cross-functional teams is preferred.
- A strong sense of ownership and a growth mentality with persistence and determination.
