Job Description

As a Teamleitung Einkauf at Siegfried, you will be responsible for creating purchasing strategies for procurement, leading price and contract negotiations with suppliers in collaboration with the global purchasing team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Hameln, Germany.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement costs and quality
  • Lead price and contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure best possible terms
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborate with the global purchasing team to ensure alignment and consistency in purchasing strategies and processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and supply chain management
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in purchasing and supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
