Your responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of the occupational health, safety, and environmental management framework
  • Collaborating closely with Group functions and other officers, such as safety and fire protection officers, to advance the EHS strategy
  • Providing guidance and support to management on all issues related to occupational health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Designing, executing, and continuously refining specific processes and standards within the EHS domain
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and legal requirements
  • Assisting with waste management and the development and updating of risk assessments and operational guidelines
  • Organizing and delivering training sessions on EHS topics for employees
  • Engaging with authorities and other pertinent institutions to fulfill all legal obligations
  • Preparing, executing, and monitoring EHS audits
  • Establishing and tracking EHS objectives in collaboration with the Business Group EU
  • Reporting on HSEE key metrics for the continuous assessment and enhancement of EHS performance

Your qualifications:

  • Completed technical studies or a comparable qualification
  • Additional training in EHS, such as safety specialist (SiFa) or fire protection officer (BSB), is advantageous
  • Substantial professional experience in EHS management
  • Thorough understanding of legal requirements in the EHS field, particularly regarding DIN EN ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001
  • Independent and methodical approach to work
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities in the face of conflicting objectives
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, written and verbal
  • Proficient in standard Office applications
