Director of Strategic Financial PartnershipsAbout the Team:
Become a pivotal leader in Cloud Financial Management within the CCOE, collaborating closely with technology, finance, and business sectors to enhance data-driven financial decisions and optimize cloud investments.
In this influential position, you will report to the CFO and oversee a team of 15 professionals, ensuring the implementation of global cloud financial practices, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost optimization. Your role will be crucial in advising the business and driving financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Role:
As an expert in Cloud Financial Management Strategy, you will establish and guide the direction of the Cloud Financial Management function while mentoring junior colleagues.Provide strategic insights for Cloud initiatives and be recognized as a trusted advisor by the Senior Leadership team.Foster collaboration and enforce best practices within the Technology community.Review technology business cases and ensure the financial viability of technical investments in partnership with the CTO and investment committee.Oversee financial planning and analysis, budget formulation, monthly planning, and forecasting for the Technology Organization.Engage in financial analysis and monitoring of key investment projects within the Technology sector.Define and Influence Cloud Financial Management Strategy:
Lead the development of financial models to support Cloud strategy and quantify the benefits of cloud applications.Establish strategies for managing the Cloud operating budget.Own all economic activities related to the CCOE.Advocate for the economic value of cloud computing to senior leaders.Develop Guidelines and Standards:
Create a standard TCO framework and dynamic analytical models for CCOE utilization.Implement strategies for Reserve Instances, On-demand, and Spot instances.Establish guidelines to enhance cost performance.Develop a proactive approach for monitoring unexpected costs within billing cycles.Financial Cost Modeling:
Manage cost models, including cloud infrastructure, personnel, and training expenses for CCOE.Design cost and revenue models for budget evaluations.Enhance Cost Allocation Models and TCO estimating processes.Evaluate the comparative costs of cloud application operations.Financial Oversight of Cloud Budgets:
Present business reviews to senior management regarding TCO progress and challenges.Report cloud service consumption costs to business application owners for chargeback purposes.Forecast cloud expenses to assist in the budgeting process for business application owners.Financial Tracking and Monitoring:
Develop and manage a reporting system for all TCO-related activities.Collaborate with Cloud Architects to enhance cost performance and establish a financial framework for cloud migration.Identify and capitalize on cost optimization opportunities.About the Ideal Candidate:
Required Qualifications:
10-15 years of relevant experience, including Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud computing technologies.Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, including networking, computing, storage, and virtualization.Experience in building IaaS and PaaS solutions within complex legacy IT environments.Familiarity with data center economics and enterprise virtualization.Experience collaborating with senior business and IT stakeholders on business case analysis and cost optimization.Extensive background in financial modeling and analysis of large-scale IT investments.Proficiency in financial control systems, including cloud cost analysis and financial reporting.Experience with tools for billbacks and showbacks.Competencies:
