Your Role:
In the capacity of a Contract and Bid Manager (f/m/d), you will be integral to Delos Cloud, overseeing the comprehensive process of responding to external tenders. This position necessitates a strategic and meticulous professional adept at navigating contractual stipulations and crafting persuasive bids to secure business prospects. Your proficiency in European procurement law will be invaluable in providing guidance on procurement-related issues pertinent to Delos Cloud's interactions with the German government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Analysis: Scrutinize external tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) to comprehend client needs, goals, and evaluation criteria.
- Bid Preparation: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to collect data and formulate comprehensive bid responses, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Contract Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and oversee contractual agreements, ensuring adherence to legal and business standards.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling and customized proposals that showcase the company's strengths, capabilities, and unique value propositions.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk evaluations related to bid submissions and contracts, offering insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Costing and Pricing: Partner with finance and relevant departments to establish precise cost models and pricing strategies for bids.
- Deadline Management: Oversee timelines and deadlines for bid submissions, ensuring prompt and high-quality responses to meet client demands.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside sales, legal, technical, and operational teams to gather essential inputs and insights for bid preparation.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous reviews of bid responses to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
- Client Relationship: Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and promoting a client-centric approach in bid submissions.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess and refine bid processes, integrating lessons learned from previous submissions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in European procurement law.
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in bid management, contract negotiation, and responding to IT-related tenders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT industry trends, services, and solutions.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical and business concepts.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to evaluate risks and opportunities associated with bids and contracts.
- Fluency in German and English.
