About the Role

SAP's Global Procurement Organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support the Sourcing Excellence Champions DACH-EMEA Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in sourcing events and projects using SAP ARIBA and SAP Fieldglass
  • Provide project management support for procurement initiatives
  • Assist with global preferred supplier list and application support
  • Support contract management, supplier management, and sourcing activities
  • Contribute to reporting and analytics efforts
  • Evaluate and classify suppliers
  • Support the MDG process and ticketing system

Requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences with preferred fields of study: Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing, HR, Controlling, or Natural Sciences
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn and work in an international environment
  • Analytical skills and high quality awareness
  • Soft skills: highly motivated, high service attitude, result-driven, proactive, team member, good communication skills, and ability to work independently and flexibly
  • Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint – advanced knowledge
  • Any SAP technology is a plus
  • Project management skills is a plus

About the Team

SAP's Global Procurement Organization aims to identify optimization potential on spend structure and management by negotiating and optimizing commercial and service agreements with partners globally. The team develops strategies in collaboration with other procurement areas and the Line of Businesses.
