Job Description

**Mission Overview**

Our Flight Dynamics team plays a critical role in supporting a wide range of missions, from early phases to end of life, in low earth orbit to deep space missions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support in the areas of spacecraft telemetry retrieval, processing, and monitoring, as well as prediction of spacecraft state and generation of spacecraft telecommanding files.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Retrieve, process, and monitor spacecraft telemetry data
  • Predict spacecraft state, including attitude, mass, modes, and AOCS parameters
  • Generate spacecraft telecommanding files
  • Perform spacecraft sensor calibration, including Star Tracker, Sun Sensor, Magnetometer, and Gyros

**Requirements**

  • University degree in a relevant engineering field, astronomy, mathematics, or physics
  • Excellent skills in linear algebra, particularly for problem-solving related to geometry in the Euclidean 3-dimensional space
  • Strong skills in calculus in one or several variables
  • Proficiency in numerical methods
  • Excellent skills in classical mechanics
  • Ability to solve mechanics problems via analytical mechanics methods (e.g., Lagrangian formulation)
  • Ability to define, implement, validate, and operate software that applies the above solutions (using Unix and/or Linux scripting languages, Fortran 77 and/or 95, Python, C++)
  • Willingness to take operational responsibility in multi-discipline teams
  • Fluency in English, both in speech and writing
