About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Flight Dynamics Engineer to join our team at GMV, supporting the operations and software maintenance of ESA flight dynamics systems for trajectory analysis and optimization and AOCS command generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of flight dynamics systems for ESA interplanetary satellites.
  • Collaborate with the flight dynamics team to ensure the smooth operation of flight dynamics systems.
  • Develop and implement numerical methods for equations solving, integration of differential equations, and function approximation.
  • Apply classical mechanics principles to kinematics and dynamics of point masses, rigid body dynamics, and dynamics in non-inertial frames.
  • Develop and maintain software in C++ for flight dynamics systems.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of linear algebra, numerical methods, and classical mechanics.
  • Experience with software programming in C++ and scripting in Python or Shell.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
