Your new role - Quality Assurance Engineer
Seize the opportunity to play a key role in shaping a world-leading product in the enterprise AI sector.
Our Quality Assurance Engineer role is required to ensure that as a team we deliver high-quality products in Cognigy.
This role mainly serves the Engineering team in Cognigy to help identify issues early in the product by thorough testing.
Your challenge:
- Intensively testing future product releases and ensure that those are bug-free, stable, and performant.
- Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization.
- Tightly collaborating with our development teams during the sprint and for bug fix verification and validation (regression testing).
- Ability to document your findings in a well-structured way to help us to mitigate them.
- For a senior, mentoring and providing training assistance to junior team members.
Requirements
About you
- Experience in testing of web applications and explorative testing.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation and testing tools.
- Experience with at least one Code Versioning System (like Git).
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (SDTC).
- Self-driven, motivated, ready to learn and adapt.
- Good communicator with good English language skills.
- Consistent, structured, analytical solver.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Advantage: having an ISTQB certificate.
