Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team at The Stepstone Group. As a key member of our software development cycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to create automated acceptance tests, ensuring our products are protected for the future.
  • Conduct manual exploratory testing to identify potential issues.
  • Contribute actively in the planning stages to eliminate bugs before they are created.
  • Ensure User Stories accepted into sprints have complete acceptance criteria, are testable, and include important requirements.
  • Share your testing experience with the team and help others write good quality automated tests.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of data engineering concepts, including SQL, Python, Data Warehousing, ETL, Facts and Dimensions, and cloud technologies like Redshift and S3.
  • Experience in Exploratory Testing, automation, and time and attention management between multiple projects.
  • Ability to analyze User Stories for testing requirements, both functional and non-functional.
  • Experience contributing to automated regression tests, isolating causes for hard-to-reproduce bugs, and influencing team members.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and a self-starter who seeks to contribute and improve skills.
