The Planet Group is collaborating with a leading global financial consulting organization in search of a Workday Configuration Expert to enhance their team.
Your role will encompass a range of technical and operational tasks, primarily serving internal HR stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with HR Global Process Owners or Subject Matter Experts to ascertain system requirements, provide recommendations on solutions, and liaise with external Workday consultants as necessary to implement prioritized solutions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and module owner for Workday functionalities, including Compensation and Recruiting.
- Oversee the bi-annual Workday updates and work in conjunction with the IT department to ensure system alignment with Workday's technical roadmap, including planning, testing, and implementing essential features and prioritized optional enhancements.
- Facilitate the ideation of technical solutions aimed at improving process efficiency and enhancing data integrity.
- Maintain a proactive and comprehensive understanding of our Workday configuration, offering insights on optimizing the client's Workday setup.
- Diagnose critical or complex issues and conduct tests to aid in problem resolution.
- Lead the configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Workday modules, with a focus on Compensation and Recruiting functionalities.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and HR teams regarding new features, updates, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Workday or similar Human Capital Management systems, along with a Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and optimizing Workday modules to fulfill business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- A proven track record of intellectual curiosity, a desire to learn, and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
