Our Finance division is experiencing significant growth. Over the past year, our team has been instrumental in driving our financial achievements. We are in search of a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist who excels in a fast-paced financial setting and possesses a strong affinity for numbers. Could you be the ideal candidate?

As a working student in Accounts Payable, you will join our Global Accounting team, which is responsible for meeting all internal and external reporting obligations while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, particularly in the closing and consolidation processes for both domestic and international subsidiaries. The Accounts Payable Specialist will follow established accounting governance protocols to generate timely financial reports and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage and process incoming inquiries Assist in maintaining supplier master data Review incoming invoices and direct them to team members for further action Support the accounts payable team in invoice processing Examine and record travel expenses, costs, and (virtual) credit card transactions Conduct thorough reviews, account assignments, and postings of both national and international business transactions in accounts payable using our SAP workflow, adhering to legal standards (IFRS where applicable) Assist the team leader with special projects

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in economics, business administration, or a related field Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, ideally gained through a commercial apprenticeship Familiarity with SAP in accounts payable is advantageous Ability to work independently and with precision Fluency in English is essential
