Who we are looking for:

This position is part of the Product Transfer (PT) team within the Endoscopy Division. The role plays a crucial part in delivering high-impact, cost-effective projects. The ideal candidate will work across a network of stakeholders from Sourcing, Operations, and Divisional partners, necessitating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects. The Project Manager is accountable to stakeholders for achieving project objectives within defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Lead PT implementation initiatives while meticulously managing project expenditures on capital and operational budgets.
  • Ensure clear, objective, and quantifiable measurement of project/program progress, including PTQ, slippage, float, risk rating, and financials.
  • Collaborate closely with Divisional and GQO Representatives to drive successful project execution, actively engaging with internal business partners to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and performance evaluation of project resources, leading shared Campus resources in alignment with program priorities.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage project risks effectively, coordinating with the broader OI team on common PT issues and resolutions.
  • Guide the team through complex or challenging situations, removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources, and collaborating with other functions to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
  • Establish priorities, instilling a sense of urgency and importance within the team while adhering to Project Management methodologies.
  • Provide high-quality leadership to project resources, fostering an engaging and positive environment. The Project Manager will be evaluated based on milestone delivery and team performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical and/or project management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Capability to comprehend complex inputs and distill critical information effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Open-mindedness with the ability to recognize and appreciate valuable ideas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven project management experience in Product Transfer and/or New Product Introduction within a regulated environment.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with process/product validations, statistical methods, GD&T, and process mapping.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and project/process enhancement initiatives.
