We are expanding our R&D team in Hannover and looking for a Tire Development Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities- Develop and introduce qualitative and cost-competitive passenger car tires for European OEMs according to customer, internal, market, and regulatory requirements.
- Review OE requirements (feasibility study) and define development strategy.
- Align obtained test results with given requirements and review development strategy and tire specifications.
- Watch OE trends and benchmark competitors, initiating technology development.
- Communicate OE project status and progress regularly.
- Participate in technical review meetings and joint testing with OEM.
- Support series production in cases of issues related to OE tires.
- Support resolution of OE customer complaints.
- Coordinate and support development activities in other regions depending on customer needs.
- Lead and participate in technology/tire line development projects/activities relevant to OE.
- Academic degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PCR OE tire development.
- Familiarity with passenger car tire production processes.
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Open-minded, team player with strong communication skills.
